Instructions
Prepare and weigh all the ingredients;
Preheat the oven (210°C);
In a saucepan, heat the water and the butter until well melted; keep stirring;
Pour the flour in one time and stir until incorporated;
Continue turning the dough until it forms one smooth ball; keep heating for 2 minutes;
Remove the saucepan out of the stove; add the egg;
Stir until smooth;
Add the cheese; stir until smooth;
Put the dough in a pastry bag;
If you don't have a pastry bag, you can use a freezing bag (cut a corner of the freezing bag)
Form small balls (2 centimeters) on a baking tray;
Use a greaseproof paper or grease lightly the baking tray;
Bake, mid-level oven position, for 20-30 minutes according to the size of your chouquettes;
Stop when chouquettes are well browned;
Chouquettes can be eaten warm or cold;
