Instructions
Cut the vanilla pods in half lengthwise;
Preheat the oven, 180°C;
In a saucepan, heat the milk and the vanilla pod; stop at once when the milk starts to boil; add the cane sugar; stir;
Let the milk cool off and the vanilla pod infuse for few minutes;
Roughly cut the brioche;
With a knife, scrape the vanilla pods to extract the grains; add them in the milk; stir;
Whisk the eggs and the dark brown sugar;
Whisk the eggs and the dark brown sugar until well frothy;
Continue to whisk while incorporating the milk;
Soak the brioche in the preparation;
Grease a cake tin; pour the preparation; lightly tamp;
Bake in the oven for 30 minutes until well browned;
Cover and continue baking for 10-15 minutes;
On a greaseproof paper sheet, return the baking tin upside down to cool down the cake; unmold;
Slice and Enjoy!
