Ingredients
- 300 g Brioche
- 40 cl milk
- 2 Eggs
- 1 Vanilla Pod
- 30 g Cane Sugar
- 30 g Dark Brown Soft Sugar
Instructions
- Cut the vanilla pods in half lengthwise;
- Preheat the oven, 180°C;In a saucepan, heat the milk and the vanilla pod; stop at once when the milk starts to boil; add the cane sugar; stir;
- Let the milk cool off and the vanilla pod infuse for few minutes;
- Roughly cut the brioche;
- With a knife, scrape the vanilla pods to extract the grains; add them in the milk; stir;
- Whisk the eggs and the dark brown sugar;
- Whisk the eggs and the dark brown sugar until well frothy;
- Continue to whisk while incorporating the milk;
- Soak the brioche in the preparation;
- Grease a cake tin; pour the preparation; lightly tamp;
- Bake in the oven for 30 minutes until well browned;
- Cover and continue baking for 10-15 minutes;
- On a greaseproof paper sheet, return the baking tin upside down to cool down the cake; unmold;
- Slice and Enjoy!
