Ingredients
- 200 g Plain Flour
- 100 g Salted Butter
- 100 g Caster Sugar
- 20 g Brown Sugar
- 1 Egg
- 1/4 tsp Ginger
- 1/4 tsp Cinnamon
Instructions
- Sift the flour, sugar, and spices into a large bowl or into the stand mixer bowl;
- Add the butter and process until the mixture well combined;
- It should look like sand;
- Add the egg and continue to knead for 2 minutes until it forms a ball;
- Dust a plate with flour and cover with plastic wrap; refrigerate for 30 minutes;
- Dust a cutting board with flour and roll out the dough into 5 mm thick;
- Cut the dough into shapes with cookie cutters; place cookies onto a baking tray;
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, until lightly browned; cool down the cookies on a cooling tray;
- Enjoy!
