Homemade Pizza Dough is so easy to do!
Be sure to have your perfect pizza base for your perfect homemade pizza!
Ingredients
- 250 g Plain flour
- 15 cl Warm water
- 5 g Dry Yeast
- 1 tsp Fine Salt
- 2 tbsp Extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tbsp Caster sugar
Instructions
- Use a stand mixer with a dough hook if you have one; knead by hand otherwise;
- Pour the warm water into the bowl and stir in the yeast;
- With a sieve (you can use a colander), sift the flour over the water and the yeast;
- Add the salt and the sugar;
- Knead the dough in the stand mixer with a dough hook or do it manually; Don't forget to dust your hands with flour to knead the dough! Use the lowest speed on your food processor;
- Knead for 10-15 minutes, until the dough is touch dry; pressing a finger should not be sticky and should not spring back;
- Dust a wood board, or your clean kitchen counter, with flour; shape gently a ball with the dough;
- Cover the dough with a clean kitchen cloth; leave the dough to rest;
- Once the dough has risen well, knock back the dough;
- Cut it and shape 3 small balls;
- Roll out the dough;
- The pizza base is all set! Garnish with your pizza toppings… Enjoy!
