Ingredients

  • 250 g Plain flour
  • 15 cl Warm water
  • 5 g Dry Yeast
  • 1 tsp Fine Salt
  • 2 tbsp Extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tbsp Caster sugar

Instructions

  • Use a stand mixer with a dough hook if you have one; knead by hand otherwise;
  • Pour the warm water into the bowl and stir in the yeast;
  • With a sieve (you can use a colander), sift the flour over the water and the yeast;
  • Add the salt and the sugar;
  • Knead the dough in the stand mixer with a dough hook or do it manually; Don't forget to dust your hands with flour to knead the dough! Use the lowest speed on your food processor;
  • Knead for 10-15 minutes, until the dough is touch dry; pressing a finger should not be sticky and should not spring back;
  • Dust a wood board, or your clean kitchen counter, with flour; shape gently a ball with the dough;
  • Cover the dough with a clean kitchen cloth; leave the dough to rest;
  • Once the dough has risen well, knock back the dough;
  • Cut it and shape 3 small balls;
  • Roll out the dough;
  • The pizza base is all set!
